Doesn't it feel crappy when you have someone point out to you the errors you make? It's like someone points a mirror your way and says "this is wrong, that is wrong." What's worse is when you KNOW you made a mistake and all you can do is sit there and shrink in your seat. It also sucks because the ego is blown to bits and starting over is hard. Building the ego back up takes time and effort. Hindsight is 20/20. I hate that. I hate that someone can track back to the point where things started going in the wrong direction. Now there's nowhere to go but up and to make sure that the things used to keep oneself in check are there. Good friends, good reads, and doing good work. We don't exist in a vacuum. Everything we do or say affects others. Sometimes we all need to be reminded of that. Skyraven Note to writers - This sucks. How do you deal with mistakes?
