An Unexpected Surprise

I attended a writing workshop today for work. For the most part, I already knew a lot of the information provided. Nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs. Commonly misspelled words; that kind of thing. One thing I did take away from the workshop was a planning chart that could be used to outline just about any kind of project you could think of. The chart was simple to use. I found the exercise challenging because I often freewrite first and then edit my projects. Filling in the chart helped me to practice organizing my thoughts to start. :) I also didn't think I'd get the chance to blend work and writing in that way. Note to writers - Having a non-writing related job can add flavor and depth to your writing. :) Skyraven
